TRAVELLING TO SARK

Sark is situated 8 miles from Guernsey and 15 miles from Jersey, tucked inside the bay of St Malo, 20 miles from the French coast.

Sark is only accessible by boat.  There are regular services from nearby Guernsey with the Isle of Sark Shipping Company all year round and a more limited service from Jersey and France with Manche Iles Express.

A fast direct link to and from Carteret in France (via Jersey) is also now available via Vedettes du Contentin.

Sark is around 80 miles away from the coast of the UK.  Travel from the UK is mostly via Guernsey which is well-served by air from most major UK airports and by sea from Portsmouth, Poole and Weymouth.

Travel from the continent is by air/sea via Guernsey, or by sea from St Malo, Granville and Carteret.

We recommend that you check boat times before departure as on some routes it is not always possible to reach Sark in a day.
